This is an unofficial proposal that extends the SI prefixes up to 1099. Starting from zetta-/zepto-, the prefixes are mutatons of the Latin or Greek numerical prefix for the corresponding power of 1000, and the first letter is always a letter taken from the alphabet in reverse alphaebtical order. For example zetta-/zepto- is based on z + septi-, yotta-/yocto- is based on y + octo-. The BIMP chose to skp the letters X -S in the reverse alphabet pattern due to concerns about conflicting with other technical symbols (jumps from Y to R, yotta- to ronna-). So this system continues that method with the same logic, going from P - A for 1033 - 1081, and then reusing X - S at the end since they were skipped. Coincidentally it worked out that it ends right before a googol.
